Laura Dunlop QC has been re-appointed as a Commissioner to the Scottish Law Commission. She has held the ministerial appointment since November 2009. She is leading the Commission’s current project on Adults with Incapacity, which concerns the right to liberty of adults with incapacity in residential facilities.
Laura has been a practicing advocate at the Scottish bar for 23 years. She is Procurator to the General Assembly to the Church of Scotland. Currently, she is senior counsel to the Penrose Inquiry into contaminated blood and blood products.
The re-appointment will last until May 2014.
