The Hastie Stable announces its 6 Sheriffdoms Seminars to which all practitioners are invited to attened.
The 2014 Seminars will be held in each of the six Sheriffdoms between May and October - a chance to hear expert speakers reviewing the latest developments in the law and providing practical guidance in major fields of civil practice.
The Caledonian Hotel, Oban - Monday 12 May - Keith Stewart, Q.C. will address the North Strathclyde Seminar on Contract Law Update - Donald Davidson will present a Talk of Interest (Appin Murder) - An update on Fees in the Sheriff Court shall be provided by Alex Quinn Law Accountants - and updates about the latest developments in Agricultural, Employment and Reparation Law will be given by Hastie Stable Advocates Michael Upton, Alasdair Hardman and David McLean.
Maitlandfield House Hotel, Haddington - Monday 19 May - Keith Stewart Q.C. will address the Lothian & Borders Seminar on Contract Update - Alex Quinn Law Accountants will present a Fees in the Sheriff Court talk - updates about the latest developments in Property, Employment, Family and Housing Law will be given by Hastie Stable Advocates Gavin MacColl, Alasdair Hardman, Isabella McKerrow and Joe Bryce.
Northern Club, Aberdeen - Monday 2 June - Gavin MacColl will address the Grampian, Highlands & Islands Seminar on Maritime Law - Alex Quinn Law Accountants will provide a talk on Fees in the Sheriff Court - Gerry Coll shall provide an Update on Fatal Claims in Negligence Law - and updates about the latest developments in Employment, Contract & Insolvency, Regulatory Law will be given by Hastie Stable Advocates James Murphie, Graeme Dalgleish and Bobby Frazer.
Each seminar provides 5 hours’ C.P.D.
Registration for all seminars is from 9.30 a.m.; the day will run from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Lunch is included.
The Glasgow & Strathkelvin (Glasgow), South Strathclyde (Ayr) and Tayside Central & Fife (Stirling) Six Sheriffdoms Seminars will be advertised in the coming weeks.
