The Scottish Court Service (SCS) has appointed 3 new members to the SCS board.
Dr Kirsty J Hood, Simon J D Catto and Professor R Hugh MacDougall have been appointed to the Scottish Court Service Board. The 3 new board members will replace Robert Milligan QC, Mark Higgins and Elizabeth Carmichael CBE who have completed their appointments to the Board.
In addition to the Lord President, the Scottish Court Service Board includes 12 other members – 6 members from different tiers of the judiciary and 6 non-judicial members.
Kirsty Hood was admitted to the Faulty of Advocates in 2001 and has a varied civil practice, with particular expertise in cross border issues. She is the author of “Conflict of Laws within the UK”. Kirsty is a graduate of the University of Glasgow.
