Before joining the Faculty of Advocates Bobby Frazer was a litigation partner at Drummond Miller where he was latterly in charge of the Sheriff Court department. He has extensive experience in all aspects of court work and during his career has conducted numerous proofs, debates and criminal trials. He became a solicitor advocate in 2004 with rights of audience in the High Court. He was a Law Society Council member from 2001 to 2011 during which time in was a convenor of the Quality Assurance Committee as well as a complaints reporter and committee convenor. He is presently a legal assessor to the Nursing Midwifery Council and a tutor in criminal advocacy at the University of Edinburgh. Bobby has also recently been appointed to the General Teaching Council for Scotland as a legal assessor.
Outside of work he has a number of sporting interests and is currently President of Edinburgh University RFC, past President of Grange CC and a member of the Cricket Scotland disciplinary panel.
