Bruce called to the Bar in 1998 having been a solicitor in private practice since 1990. His principal areas of practice are these: - Reparation - Professional Negligence - Employment Law - Child and Family Law - Fatal Accident Inquiries He has appeared frequently in the Court of Session at first instance and appellate level; in the Sheriff Court at first instance and appellate level; and in the Employment and various other Statutory and Disciplinary Tribunals. In addition he is instructed by the Crown as an Advocate Depute, in which capacity he represents the Crown in the High Court. Bruce has an extensive opinion practice and is happy to consult throughout the country. He is widely regarded as being extremely approachable and is a polished and experienced court performer.
