Following the radical development of judicial review as a means of regulation of public bodies of all kinds in recent decades, the establishment of the Scottish Parliament and the Human Rights Act have greatly increased the need for trustworthy, effective and professional advocacy and advice about the public law governing relations between the individual and the state.
