After being a practising solicitor for 5 years, David called to the Bar in 1993. He has an established and consistently instructed Family Law practice including matters such as; divorce, financial provision, separation, cohabitation, child issues, international child abduction, child relocation, abuse cases, baby-shaking, child poisoning, additional needs, adoption, care issues, and children’s referral proceedings.
He has continued to be instructed also in criminal matters, which tend to arise from child or family circumstances such as assault, sexual assault, force feeding, inappropriate handling, injury, shaking, and cases involving allegations of Munchausen syndrome.
He is experienced and able in the managing of complex situations and evidence. He appears in all courts regularly. His practice is heavily court based. He is well known by the courts for a clear and pragmatic approach. He is a recognised expert in his field who regularly speaks at accredited events.
